Daycare Business Plan free essay sample
This will make it an exciting part of their week. Activities will range from music, arts and crafts, baking and dancing activities as well. These are just some of what will be offered. On top of that, a vital part of a seniors life is making sure that their medical issues are monitored or checkups provided. This will be offered from day one with qualified medical personnel attending every day. Overall I fell that this resource be made available to our seniors. We will make sure that they are not only available, but available in a very pleasant setting with comfortable arrangements all around them. COMPANY DESCRIPTION: The company is structured for beginning of life and approaching end of life services and daycare. We cater to the young as a daycare facility and after school programs for children. Working parents have a resource for subsidized child care from 6 months old and older. We provide all day care for these children. They are feed breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner if needed. We also have book reading and several play activities along with nap periods according to age. After school, we provide activities for these children as well. These activities include computer learning and games, homework time ith assistance from staff members to help with any homework questions. They are also provided arts and craft activities to keep their mind active. As with most all children, they need some down time. For that we provide approved movies and popcorn on certain days. Our staff will drop off and pick up at all local schools so the parents donââ¬â¢t have to worry about transportation. As far as senior go, we have been planning this for several years. At this time we do not have a senior day care operation, but we have done all our homework and we are ready to move. Through Medicaid, we can get the center subsidized for these seniors. Medicaid will pay for most if not all of the costs if the senior is going to a licensed center. Mario has already started the process of licensure through the state. Our company employees17 full time and 5 part time employees. They consist of cooks, drivers, teachers, teaching assistants, tutors And administrative staff. SERVICE PROVIDED As discussed in part in the Executive Summary, we will provide a day care center for seniors. They enable seniors to socialize with others while still receiving needed care services. At the same time, they offer caregivers a break from care giving duties while knowing that their loved one is in good hands. Adult day care is a planned program of activities designed to promote well-being though social and health related services. Adult day care centers operate during daytime hours, Monday through Friday, in a safe, supportive, cheerful environment. Nutritious meals that accommodate special diets are provided. The needs that these centers address are; â⬠¢ To provide older adults an opportunity to get out of the â⬠¢ house and receive both mental and social stimulation. â⬠¢ To give caregivers a much-needed break in which to attend to personal needs, or simply rest and relax. For the participant, an adult day care centers benefits can be extensive: â⬠¢ A safe, secure environment in which to spend the day. â⬠¢ Enjoyable and educational activities. â⬠¢ Improvement in mental and physical health. â⬠¢ Enhanced or maintained level of independence. â⬠¢ Socialization and peer support. â⬠¢ Nutritious meals and snacks. Market Analysis In the Providence ( Charles Street) area, there is not that much in the way of competition. Part of that reason is that the need/demand for Senior Daycare greatly outstripped supply. The one in our neighborhood is the Davinci Center. This serves as a community center and has people drifting in and out all day but not truly designated for the purpose of senior daycare. We feel that we can capture a great number of seniors. Enough that we would need to add centers as soon as we get up and running and the word spreads. As this happens, we will look to the future when the time is right. This center needs to get licensed and up and running. We will sign up with The National Adult Day Services Association which is a national association which seniors and their families can find a facility in their area to send their parents or loved ones to. There are plenty of other resources that are available which we will utilize as we see fit Management Team; Mario Mancebo Our management team will consist of our Director, Mario Mancebo. Mario was a teacher in Providence for years. He holds a Masters degree in Education and a Masters degree in Administration from Rhode Island College. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Administration and should be complete within the year. He has run The Charles Street Community Center since 2006. The company was started from scratch. He bought and fixed up the building to get it approved for a daycare center for the children. Mario has also served as president of Rhode Island Latin Teachers Association for 5 years (2005-2010). Matthew Bergeron Matthew has served as Vice President of The Charles Street Community Center. He has been a Board Member of the Community Center from 2006 to the present. Matthew is the Director of Next Generation Alarm Company and has been in that capacity for 10 years. From the day the Center was started, Matthew was a driving force in hiring well qualified individuals for teaching and tutoring the children. Matthew will continue that driving force in developing the proper personnel for the senior center.
